Today (May 26, 2010) I retired after 33 years as a classroom teacher (6 years elementary, 21 middle school, and 6 high school).

I am in the ministry (Ordained in 2018) now, doing hospital and home visitation and heading Sunday School at Beaver Creek Baptist church in Phenix City, Alabama.
School Story:

I was at Kendrick one year. My father bought a house in South Columbus. The year before, I went to Baker High School.

If you were in the military where were you stationed and what was your job?

At first, I had orders for Vietnam, then I was stationed in Fairfield, California and Homestead, Florida. I worked in nuclear missile units.

After I left the military in 1973, I went to Columbus College and Auburn University finishing with my doctorate in 1991.
